# Been propagating this guy for 4 weeks! I’m jumping the gun because it…

Been propagating this guy for 4 weeks! I’m jumping the gun because it feels like I’ve had him for months until reality set in when I went to write this post … but when is the root big enough to plant?! Also is the growth as far as long as you would expect for 4 weeks? If not, this is my setup any suggestions?

i personally don’t ever plant my propagations until the main root system develops secondary roots, so if this were me i would wait a while longer

I would wait til it’s at least 2” or longer. I personally wait for 4-5” on mine.
