First time propping jade and I really don’t want to mess it up. Give me your tips! I watched all the YouTube videos but I trust this community’s advice so much more!

To callus or not to callus? Prop on water or soil? Rooting hormone needed?

I tried mine in both soil and water, and the one that was originally in water has done so much better!
I think I left it for a day, then put it in water. After that, I waited until there were secondary roots, then I planted it.
The one propagated in water has already started to grow new leaves, the one in soil is healthy, but had no visible new growth yet :)

Thank you! I might try both as well! Did you have any success propagating the leaves?

I've had success both ways. With leaves it's hit or miss if they take and it's very slow going. You can bag them to start and increase the humidity. Make sure to wet around the soil every few days. The cuttings have been easier I've given them away to family and friends. Just stick them right in a small pot and treat them as usual.
