Just got this jade cutting, what should I do, put it in water for the roots to grow or put it in a pot. Let me know what I should do!

I go straight into the dirt with my jade props

Does it matter what soil?

Cactus/succulent soil. They wanna completely dry out between waterings

Although keep the soil a lil moist during the rooting stage. The first month or so

I’ve been using bonide’s rooting hormone on my jade cuttings to help them a little better during the colder months, and found it’s worked really well with my jades. I put some powder on some and within 5 days two of the cuttings started growing roots.
