Water is the most successful at least that I’ve tried the roots are a little delicate so you have to be careful when you’re potting them. You cut at the node and if you want to know what a plant node looks like you can look that up online plants like Monstera, Pothos, and prayer plants have them, and many others. You can also propagate in pearlite. And some plants won’t propagate without a juice type paste that you put on the end of the cutting.
