# Hi all, any suggestions on how to propagate this Elephant bush plant?…

Hi all, any suggestions on how to propagate this Elephant bush plant? Where do I cut? I know it’s a bit leggy, I plan to change the location for more sunlight. Any suggestions to propagate would be appreciated!

you can cut anywhere between two leaves. i would say you can cut it back pretty low if you're aiming for a bushier plant. if you end up with a lanky cutting, you can chop the excess into multiple different cuttings, as well as remove the leaves, as the leaves of succulents can also produce new plants. for succulents i have had very little success with water propagation. let the cuttings dry out for about a week, then put in DRY soil. let it sit for two weeks to develop roots before you give it it's first watering, to prevent rot.
