# Hi! I was given this very leggy ficus audrey that is not doing so…

Hi! I was given this very leggy ficus audrey that is not doing so hot. I’m planning on removing the dracaena in the same pot but was thinking about doing some aggressive pruning to “start fresh”. Would it be ok to chop off most of the branches \& leaves or should I go with more notch method to encourage more growth on the existing branches?

Hey there! Personally, I would prune most of the branches to encourage more growth in all directions.
