# I am kind of new to plants and am very scared of pruning 😅 I watched…

I am kind of new to plants and am very scared of pruning 😅 I watched a LOT of videos before deciding to prune my baby rubber plant (Claire is her name). It was growing a long thin stem and I wanted it to be bushier and heavier so hopefully the pruning and propagating will help.

I hope I did this right, I cut right above a leaf and I now have 2 stems and 2 leaves in water and the main plant has 3 leaves left.

My baby rubber plant could live through the apocalypse lol. Ive never tried to propagate mine but I’m sure at the least the mother plant will be okay

Also I love the variegation on yours, it’s super pretty!
