Monsterra prop help!

My monsterra had root rot, so I took off the bad roots and sanitized the others. During my research, I saw it was recommended to take a node (?) in case the plant doesn’t do well after root rot care.

I put these in water, but the roots got all mushy.

Can I propagate these without roots?

Are they too far gone?

I don't see a node on what you've got in hand. It'll look like a dark bump or nub that has the potential to grow into something. Without one of those it may not be salvageable

Without seeing the back of what you are holding I do not see a node.
