# We’ve been propagating avocado seeds and the stem seemed to stop…

We’ve been propagating avocado seeds and the stem seemed to stop growing but all of their roots have continued to grow. We were afraid to put them in sunlight. Now, the seed we propagated last starting sprouting leaves first. So, we moved them all closer to the sun and now they are all have been beginning to grow again and seem to have shot up overnight! 🙂 We had one of the seeds in the back \[left\] almost a year!

They need bright indirect light at least 6 hours a day as a seedling. They will eventually need full sun when they get larger. They also need fertilizer. 🍀🪴

Wow congrats!! Did you just use storebought avocados, or do you have a tree?
