Does anyone have any suggestions on how to encourage root growth for snake plants?

I’ve been told snake plants need to see the sky, I put mine in a window where it can see the sky and it’s been growing great.

Use a rooting hormone (bonide rooting powder or DipnGrow) or Mycorrhizal

Recommend when you water it make sure you flush it or let sit in water for 25 min and you see is moist an top and then don’t water for few weeks roots will go down looking for water mine grew bigger and shoot 2 babies and now they are same hight of mom also I keep in window sill and cold has not bother her

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I figured out that I had been underwatering it for a long time. Now that I know what my issue was, I can correct it. I won’t let it go weeks at a time without watering anymore.
