# Should I start to separate these into their own cups? Don’t want them…

Should I start to separate these into their own cups?  
Don’t want them to battle each other but don’t want to kill them  
Any tips? They are lemon seedlings

At least 3 cups have 3+ seed that sprouted

It is definitely time to thin them. You can try putting them into seperate cups, but sprouts that young are often delicate about being moved. For the best chance of keeping most of them alive, prioritize the health of the big ones as you work, be extremely gentle with the roots as you divide them, and expect some losses. Also don't pull the small sprouts up; try to divide the soil around them instead, so the tiny roots don't get ripped up
