# anyone have tips for propagating succulents? I only had this mixture…

anyone have tips for propagating succulents? I only had this mixture of regular potting soil with extra perlite. Should I mist or water with a can? About how long until I should see roots? Any and all advice much appreciated appreciated as this is my 3rd time trying this🥲

Just water to get the top of the soil wet about once a week or until it has dried out in between. I wouldn’t put much more water down then to get 1cm or 3/4 in deep

yes!! watering isnt nessicary, as the pup will get all the energy it needs from the mother leaf! when that leaf eventually dries up and the baby can be easily pulled off, you can give the pups their own teeny pot! watering schedule then follows a regular succualant sched :)

I mist mine once a week. I’ve been growing mine since December.
