The leaves it's self won't prop. It needs to have a node

Pictures 1,2,4 look fine they all have nodes. I can’t tell on the zz

Just make sure the node you want roots from is in the water. And any leaves aren't in the water, as they will rot.

Your zz is fine, all you have to do to root one of them is just cut the stem on an angle and stick it in water. I just did one this summer. It pry took at least a month.

Like most of the others said, the cuttings in 1, 2, and 4 will do fine as long as the nodes are in water and the leaves are not. The ZZ cutting is fine too, just keep in mind they take quite a lot longer to grow roots compared to the others, like months instead of weeks. I’d pot them up in well-draining soil when you see roots that are 1-2 inches long. Good luck!
