Hey everyone!  
I am currently about to propagate my maranta prayer plant due to a root issue. Am I suppose to let it callous over before putting it in water?

To callus Just leave it a day usually. Or you can put super glue on the end to artificially seal it. I don't bother if I'm water propping, since the water will soften any callusing. But some people swear by it

Yes about the only plant that doesn’t need to calus is a spider plant!
