Hello all! I know a lot of plant parents (like me :) ) really enjoy watching other people’s plant grow! Sometimes growing our own is considered a hassle. So I’m delivering to yalls! Every day I’m posting a photo of my Chinese ever green ever day! So you can see its progress.

Hope you guys enjoy!

Day 1 (day I took the cutting):

Edit\* I added the profile for the plant. It will be up to you guys to pick the name!

Does it have a node? It looks like just the leaf.

It is the leaf and the stem. There are little nodes on the side. I’ve never had trouble starting them like this.

Do you have any tips about it? Mabey im starting it wrong. Please let me know!

Oh no, it’s good. I thought it was just the leaf. I’ve seen too many posts here of ppl trying to prop just the leaf.

i will say it seems like it would be a lot easier to simply cut all the way across the stem to get a full cutting with multple leaves rather than a single leaf with a node :)

I’m guilty of doing this years ago when I first got into plants lolol I had a rubber tree leaf with roots💀🤪
