# Hey y’all so I found this leaf behind my counter with what to me…

Hey y’all so I found this leaf behind my counter with what to me looks like a node. I don’t know how many days it was back there or how it fell off but I decided to put it in water to see if it’ll root. The only thing is that the leaf is looking a lil well ….. Sad and wrinkly . it was a lot worse when I found it. So I have a lil hope for it, but I’m new to this and naive. Y’all think it’ll root?

i can’t reeeally tell from the water distortion, but i don’t thiiink that’s a node. post a pic of it out of the water

nodes aren’t connected to leaves, stems only. is this attached to a piece of stem?

Yes it’s attached to the stem but it’s very small

just keep it there and see what happens! i propagate anything just to see what i can do 😂 have gotten some shocking results!

I’m on the same boat with ya.. but my leaf is in really bad condition .. I just put it in water and hope for roots 🥲

It’s from Amazon.. Hey.. my leaf gave me a small root after I added propdrops.. saw them on TikTok and bit the bullet but after one day a see a small root

It looks like it might have a node! so it should root keep it in the water and change it every week ish and you should get roots in a few weeks :) — if you do get it to grow into a plant that leaf will probably die off but it’ll keep growing don’t give up!
