# Anyone know why this propagation isn’t growing like the others? It…

Anyone know why this propagation isn’t growing like the others? It only has roots but they aren’t growing into the dirt very much. Should I take him out from under the grow light? 1st and second pic shows what it looks like now! Last pic are my other props. I got them all in May!

I find growing from a leaf is very hit or miss and there's so rhyme or reason to when they take or don't. I do wet the soil around the rooting area every few days.

I do that as well!! So far every propagation I’ve had grows fully so I’m not super experienced with the ones that aren’t growing much😆

I tend to bury the end slightly on succulent leaves to propagate, it’s been much better than leaving them on top of the soil for me. I just water them as if they were any other succulent in the planter
