# Hey my plant people. I got this purple waffle plant last summer for…

_Posted by Jannette on 2026-03-20_

Hey my plant people. I got this purple waffle plant last summer for $1 my rehab 🤗. Now she’s gotten tall and I got my first flowering. I want to make the pot fuller though. Anyone had success propagating into the same pot to make fuller.

Mine props super easily in water but then I’ve put several rooted cuttings into the same pot—

Yes. Cuttings rooted in sphagnum moss are doing well, and I have even cut a stem and shoved it directly back into the same pot and it rooted and flourished. But also many of my cuttings have rotted in water, so YMMV.
