# My friend gave me this aloe cutting yesterday when she accidentally…

My friend gave me this aloe cutting yesterday when she accidentally snapped it off of her plant. I’m currently keeping it next to our kitchen window in the same container with a spider plant, which already has more than enough good roots to be potted, I just haven’t gotten around to it. Is there anything I should do differently to make it grow roots?  
Edit: I also snapped the tip on accident when I dropped it, will that be fine?
