i bought this string of pearl propagation and the ends were in water.

is that the proper way to do this? i really want them to thrive! help pls 🥹

Ye the end in water with a node and take the leaves off so they’re not under water and change the water every couple days and then sit back and wait.

Altho I’m no expert I’ve only ever done one cutting in water but it’s working sooo 🤷‍♀️

I just ploped them in some soil and it has tones of new growth

that’s what i did and im misting it when the top gets dry  
i hope it roots! i’ve wanted one of these for so long!

I usually take a bunch of cuttings lay them on top of a thin layer of soil in a shallow tray and cover with cling wrap to hold in moisture. Then I stick them in a sunny spot or under a grow light. In a couple of weeks, after I see good root growth, I move them to individual pots. I’ve propagated probably close to 50 of string of pearls plants like this. I’ve never done water propagation for them.
