# Hey plant friends! Which would you keep? I was trying out air…

Hey plant friends! Which would you keep? I was trying out air layering of my ficus elastica in the fall. It was a great success! Now I have 3 of them and need to get rid of the other two. I just can’t decide which one I want… Do you prefer butt, mid, or top cuttings?

I don't think you can go wrong but I think I would choose the picture on the left.

If you choose the butt it should branch off where you cut it. That's what mine have done in the past.

I will also pic the middle since you already had a second shoot and more leaves and will also branch out more in the future
