My Hoya cutting, Gwen, has been in water for maybe 3-3 1/2 weeks now. Is this the expected timing to see what I think is root bumps? (The little white dots)

She’s about six inches long and has 5 leaves total…

Yup sounds about right! If you loose some leaves the plant might have more energy to grow more roots but i understand if you don’t want to do that. My Hoyas are pretty slow growers I haven’t seen a new leaf on mine in quite a while.
