Someone on here told me this is how I propagate my spider plant and now I feel like an idiot lol

Lmao i mean ive never seen it but maybe itll work. There’s no harm in trying. Usually I see people propagate the babies that end up growing. Mine popped a baby out a weeks into me have it so be patient.
