I recently got this monstera from a friend to propagate it. The stem is tall and bare and the leaves are concentrated at the top. I’m thinking of cutting the stem up around the nodes to propagate it. There are some nodes that have aerial roots coming off (as seen in picture).

My question is can I put that bit of stem with root coming off in soil? Or should I leave the aerial roots out of the soil?
