# This philodendron Birkin was just given to me by a friend, wondering…

This philodendron Birkin was just given to me by a friend, wondering if I can propagate this whole part in water or if I should just burry with more soil? I don’t want to rip it out but there’s so many roots showing from it and I love my plants in water. Please let me know!

If you can safely divide it, clean the roots off and put her in water

Totally agree with Wolfen! My Birkin hated soil (or my watering style) so she’s been in water for a while!
