# Hello! I read somewhere that you can put leftover scallion cuttings…

Hello! I read somewhere that you can put leftover scallion cuttings in water and they’ll grow. It’s worked so far—this is only two days of growth! I’m wondering if/when I should plant them in soil. They started with pretty developed roots. Thank you so much 🤍

Thank you all for all the replies! I’ve gotten a ton of good information and I’m excited to see the continuing progress they’ll make!
