# Did I propagate this prayer plant correctly? It was getting too long…

Did I propagate this prayer plant correctly? It was getting too long and this piece was breaking in half, so I thought if I cut it and placed it in water until it grew roots, it would be better off to replant.

I’ve had successful propagations this way. Might just need to give it some more time!

it’s hard to tell by this picture, but as long as there’s a node, you should be good!

also, if you have a pothos, you can add a cutting of it with this cutting \& it produces a rooting hormone that’ll help it root faster.

Yay! Thank you both so much :) I’ll add another photo since I just propagated it last night. Maybe this will be a better image
