Hello everyone! 🌱 🪴

I have been caring for this little guy for about a month or two. I love him! Just within the last two days, the roots have turned to this darker color.

The only difference is I added a grow light from Amazon (the clip ons) and moved it next to my bigger monstera instead of being with the other babies. Is there a reason and is he okay???! 😭🥹

They darkened because of the light you added. It should be just fine if you're wanting to keep him in water.

I’m pretty sure the older parts of the roots will darken as they grow thicker and then the ends will be light where the new growth is. They look very normal! 👍🏻
