# Water monstera propagation… is there another place to cut the right…

_Posted by Megs on 2024-07-25_

Water monstera propagation… is there another place to cut the right stem where it would make it easier to replant in the future, but also will the left stem stay alive because the only roots that have grown are from the right stem? Hopefully this makes sense

Personally I would cut the right plant below your thumb like right where you’re holding between the thumb and middle finger and then again under your index finger to get two plants both with nodes 😄

Okay that’s also what I was thinking I could do but I didn’t want to ruin my currently beautiful prop. Thank you!!
