# I’m seeking advice on propagating or trimming my purple waffle plant.…

I’m seeking advice on propagating or trimming my purple waffle plant. I got this plant in a fairy garden in October 2023. As it grew, I kept adding posts to support it. Then I read more about it and learned these plants are typically ground cover or hanging plants. If this were your plant, what would you do?

Thank you! I love it too but nervous about how to keep it upright as it gets bigger 😅

Keep as is...it's gorgeous, and obviously thriving. I would be scared to mess with it.

If you can put it up against a wall you could use plant hooks to guide it up a wall. I’ve used tiny command hooks and scotch tape successfully

Mine looks the same and I use small trellis behind it as it grows it attaches another trellis. After my next trellis I will cut down and keep it trimmed at that height. I will have to learn how to propagate it though. That sounds interesting to try.
