# What am I supposed to do this this thing? This prayer plant has gone…

What am I supposed to do this this thing? This prayer plant has gone all leggy and I'm afraid to try to trim her since I almost killed her three months ago. I trimmed a leaf and node and they have yet to root in water (but still alive???). Help me.

I had luck propagating mine in fluval stratum, they seemed to root quickly that way.

how large is the container you're propagating in? try a smaller vessel, if possible! and if you have any pothos, they put off a rooting hormone when propagated, so adding them in with other cutting actually helps your plants root faster!

I will definitely try this! It's a mason jar but it could definitely be smaller and I have a lemon meringue Pothos I've thought about propogating! Thank you!
