# Realized one of the cuttings in a pot wasn’t rooted so I took it out…

Realized one of the cuttings in a pot wasn’t rooted so I took it out so I can put it in water to grow roots, should I just put it in like this or do I need to cut somewhere? What parts should be covered by water?

Hi, you should make sure that the node is covered in water. Add some cinnamon, it a natural root stimulator. Just cover the node or sprinkle the cinnamon in the water. Good luck!
