hey all!! ive been propagating this mystery plant for a few weeks and the roots are starting to get pretty long and theres a new leaf sprouting from the node, are these roots long enough to go ahead and pot this plant? Or should I leave it in water a bit longer??

I like to wait until they have started growing secondary roots that branch off the main roots! Some people also recommend two inches of root growth

My neighbor has a plant very similar and she never potted hers and it’s thriving! Ofc, if you would like to pot her it’s best to wait as long as you can. Let those roots branch off and grow another inch or two. Don’t forget to slowly transition or you’ll dry out your roots!
