So about a week and a half ago I propagated my monstera plant. I now have two plants with established roots. I’m not sure what to do next to make sure I have a large plant with fenestrations leaves, any recommendations?

I think this is a regular monstera. It doesn’t look like an Albo. You won’t get any variegation.

Oh gosh I meant fenestrations

So a regular Monstera with all solid leaves won’t produce any leaves with fenestration? I have one in soil that looks like hers with 4-5 solid green leaves. I was wondering if it would do anything.🤪

It will produce fenestrations as it matures.

Lots of light and food seems to get mine happy.

Light and maturity will give you fenestrations :) don’t be discouraged if you don’t get any for a while. Yours looks quite young.

I would wait a bit longer on those roots. I like my water props to have 2-3 roots, at least 2-4” long, with secondary roots forming before moving to soil. That seems to give them the best transition.

You could also keep this hydro if you wanted. You’d need to start adding fertilizer to the water though. I’d suggest doing a bit of research on diluting, and the correct fertilizer for that method.

these roots are not ready! wait for your roots to have roots. then into very chunky soil in a pretty small pot. monstera like to be tight in their pots. bright light for best results, but no product in the world can replace patience! it feels like forever waiting for them to fenestrate.

These are the mother plants lol I’m not really sure what to do with them bc they don’t really have the monstera look I wanted

the roots are crowded. if you're looking for matureness, you need to separate them. only one or two stems per pot. even with two, they will compete until one root system overcomes the other and starts dominating the water and nutrients.
