This has been in water and rooting hormone for far too long!! It’s pushing out leaves like crazy, it’s got eight leaves as of now. I broke the stem a long time ago, so do you think it will be okay to plant it like it is and what size pot? I have from 2 inch pots all the way to ginormous!! I’m gonna post another one that’s like a whole tree now, I’ve honestly never even identified it so I gurl I’ll do that now then post and see if yak can give me some much needed advice!!

I believe it is a peacock plant and is a member of the prayer plant family. They like to be a little snug in their pot so a smaller pot would be ideal.

Those roots are great. I had one in water and it never had roots like that

Thank you!! Should I just continue letting in be a hydroponic plant 🌱 or what do you think?

Research of that plant can live in water or transfer to semi hydro. When did transfer mine to soil, it had a hard transition

Nice! Did you dip it in rooting hormone and then put it back in water? Mine is not growing roots or just growing them so slowly.

No I just stuck it in water!! I seem to have a magic touch with propagating it’s the plants in soil I struggle with!!! I definitely prefer hydroponics!!

Prolly wouldn’t hurt to use some but I’d get liquid. I swear by that stuff!! One bottle is like $14 but if you buy two with tax and everything it’s close to $19 abs a bottle lasts forever!! I propagate constantly, I don’t always use it sometimes I forget but it definitely makes a difference in my opinion!
