# I need to make a spray of hydrogen peroxide and water to clean off…

I need to make a spray of hydrogen peroxide and water to clean off the mushy end of a plant that I am propagating. What is the percentage of water and peroxide that I should use for spray? THX☺️

If you are using 3% hydrogen peroxide, you can actually just use it straight from the bottle. Higher concentrations will have a mixture that had a lower concentration compared to water

Can I just use the 3% hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and dab it on the base of the stem where it the mushy part was? 🫤

You can, but dabbing it on when it’s already mushy will not kill the bacteria inside the stem. You’ll need to remove the mushy part, then spray the stem with a hydrogen peroxide solution in case there is any bacteria left.
