Go ahead and stick her in some soil! Once you have secondary roots, that usually a good sign you can pot! Or you can just grow her hydroponically, just make sure to keep up with fertilizing and changing out the water.

A tip I use when growing hydroponically is anytime Planta tells me to water, I just change out the water instead!

Typically the rule is let the roots grow til they are atleast 2-3 inches long but best if left til the start to have secondary roots (aka roots coming off the main root)

I usually wait until 2 inches of root appears on a cutting. But, tradescantia is like a weed that doesn’t need water propagation to thrive. You can stick it straight into soil at anytime. So, yours can go into a potting mix right now even with roots less than 2 inches long. 😄
