I was thinking about propagating this Chinese money plant. Do I just cut it, like where my orange mark is, and put it in some water to root?

I’m scared I will hurt my beautiful plant 🪴 it’s never had little offshoots so maybe it’s not ready to be propagated?

You certainly can do that. The stem that's left will start growing one or more new stems and the part you removed shou root easily.

I propagated some in water! Keep the stem up until the leaves in water, you can even use tooth picks to hold them up (like a potato). I used shot glasses since they have such thin stems. It was really successful, in about 2 weeks I had a lot of healthy roots popping out. Just don’t forget to fill the cup/glass it’s in when the water evaporates and don’t let the leaf stems be in the water or else they will rot!
