# Hi all, I've been growing this avocado from seed since 2nd March and…

Hi all, I've been growing this avocado from seed since 2nd March and its grown a lot, it's like my child. It's about 25cm tall and I was unsure whether i should prune it? Any advice is appreciated thanks!

If so, how much should i prune and can the cutting be propagated?

(I did the wet paper towel method and planted directly in soil when roots developed)

I got one too and I know I have to cut it back (but I don’t want to 😢)

I just cut the new tips at the top and it works
