Plants naturally have their own rooting hormone so I don’t change the water in propagations but the type of water you use is important. I only use purified reverse osmosis water.

I don’t use a rooting hormone for propagation, I use tap water that’s been sitting out for 24 hrs to dechlorinate and then I take a pathos cutting and put it in the water. I’ve had my recent cuttings in water for about a months now and they just starting rooting and I’ve got about 4 little roots poking out
