# Hello, So I received this pink princess prop almost a month ago now,…

Hello,

So I received this pink princess prop almost a month ago now, and I feel like I’ve seen barely any to ZERO root growth! The seller propagated it in sphagnum, and I received it as shown with the one root and one leaf. I’ve been propagating in a small glass of water. I am changing the water like every day almost and it’s in bright sunlight, my ambient humidity is 50-60%, temps stay at like 77 in here. The singular root is not mushy and has good color, but the leaf does feel a bit dry and thin but not crispy. My question is: what do I do? Should I wait it out? Or should I try sphagnum? Soil? Let me know, I’m newer to this 🤣

Hm maybe something like Superthrive would boost the growth a bit

Leave it in water for 3-4 days. The constant water change by be to much for it. Some plants do grow slower than other in water. I change my water every like 5-8 days cause I forget. My red prayer plants root incredibly quick in water where my monstera oblique has barely rooted. Just ignore it and it’ll start to grow

Totally, I’ve left mines in the same water for so long too as forgetting 🤭 just leave her to chill in it for a while 🫶🏼🪴
