# Hello, I have a healthy monstera plant and would like to propagate it…

Hello, I have a healthy monstera plant and would like to propagate it but don’t know how, could anyone guide me please?

Last time I tried it didn’t work and I looked on the internet on how to do it. Maybe the advice was wrong or maybe I did something wrong so I would like to try again.

What I did was I cut it just after a leave and preferably a stem with aerial roots on it and with at least 2 leaves or more on the stem then put it in water and change the water every week. Any aerial roots that were brown the coating will come off and they will turn white.

Thank you! I will try again. Last time I had two leaves and one aerial root but I think I will try with more this time
