Adult spider mites are hard to see. Young ones and the eggs are even harder to see. Wash the props and spray the mother plants with soapy water to kill the clan!😂 Washing them in only water won’t kill them. Repeat spraying with soapy water each week until they are completely gone.

I didnt even think about soapy water! I’ll do that. I read somewhere if you spray them with water they just rinse off but that could be false info.

Your props are gorgeous though! Do you have any suggestions/tips for a wanna be prop mom? I killed three spider babies, and now I’m trying again with a hearty pothos.

thank you ☺️ I’m still somewhat of a newbie, so I don’t have everything down yet. but my biggest tips of advice would be, check on them everyday and adjust care according to how they grow/react, etc. also if the water gets murky and green, change water, spray roots with hydrogen peroxide, and I also put a tiny bit of peroxide in all of their water to keep oxygen levels up (which promotes growth). also google is your best friend!! hope that helps 🫶🏻
