Just cut above a nose and toss it in some water. I place mine in a clear glass in either bright light or indirect. Once the roots grow a couple inches you can plant them in soil. You can also skip the water and plant the cuttings directly in the soil but it’s definitely fun to watch the roots grow.

I trimmed her a little bit yesterday and put the trimmed parts in some water. leaves are really droopy today. Is that normal?

The trimmed leaves are droopy or the mother plant?

The trimmed leaves

They should perk up

I looked closer and realized I didn’t trim one of them properly. The cutting that was properly trimmed still has a happy leaf.

What Is a node?

So there’s bumps on the stem so imagine like a string of bones 🦴 see how there’s bumps on both ends? Well in plants they can have these bumps called nodes so to prop you cut in between the nodes so think of cutting the bone in half.
