I would wait a little bit till those doors get longer! The longer the root, the easier it will thrive in a new pot. Maybe start with a 4” or 6” pot?

THANK YOU AN ANSWER!! lol ! It’s a pretty big monstera lol sounds good I’ll start with a 6” I will wait longer, one root is 4” one is 3” and the bottom one is 2” and I think it’s just popping out another! :) so overall it’s in okay conditions ?

I would wait a little longer, til you have a little root system going on, you wanna make sure the first roots then have secondary roots coming out it. I would start with a 4” or 6” pot (keeping in mind not how big the plant itself is but how big the root ball ends up being when you do repot).

Thank you :) I’m going to keep it going in water a little longer :)

I like to wait until there are secondary roots and then pot into a pot about an inch larger than the roots. Monstera like to be tight, so I’d try to get pretty close or it won’t grow quickly for you. Plants can either work on roots or work on foliage. Rarely can they do both. If you pot it into a 6”, it may take months to fill the roots out before giving you any foliage.
