I am BIG sad. I ordered this Tradescantia Nanouk Lilac plant off Etsy. The seller has amazing reviews and great communication. I got it today and it does not look like it’s going to survive. 😪  
I already messaged the seller and am waiting for her to respond but wanted to see if anyone has any advice on what to do. Pictures are the plant pre shipping and the plant post shipping.

Oh my gosh how heart breaking 💔 what happened?? Is there the slightest piece able to cut off at the top to attempt to propagate?

Also I’ve only ever successfully propagated things in water and I don’t know how this plant would take that.

They actually root so fast in water, it took about a week for mine to grow roots. I hope yours survive!

I have many in water they are doing good 😊 and I would hope if the seller replaces they wouldn’t ask you to send the dead plant back 🙈

So I tried to propagate it and I think it was kidnapped by my cat because it was MIA this morning when I woke up. Thankfully the sender is sending a replacement.

Oh my gosh 🙈 at least the seller is sending you another! I haven’t had many issues with my cat and dog EXCEPT, my dog always runs through them and knocks them over and someone (my dog I think) chewed a bit on my sago palm because some of the leaves on just one frond on the top looked really weird but the rest of the plant looks healthy. and I’m like omg because it’s poisonous 🙈
