# How can I trim down my rubber tree that touches the ceiling and also…

How can I trim down my rubber tree that touches the ceiling and also the leaves from the top have fallen off I don’t know if its been so hot here in SW FL I have kept it dark to keep it cooler or something else please help!

I’ve heard you can chop off the top of the trunk and water propagate it

You can absolutely propagate from a top cutting. Also the bottom leaves do fall off as the plant ages. Is it healthy otherwise?
