# So I bought avocados to try propagating a seed and when I open this…

So I bought avocados to try propagating a seed and when I open this first one up this dude is already split with a root coming out (I washed it and cleaned it up before the pic). Has anyone else every seen this and do I just stick the root in some water or should I go straight to planting it?

Wow that’s awesome just put it in some water and it’ll grow some more and bigger roots before potting! Good luck it’s so fun to watch it grow
