# propagated from my large snake plant, but i feel like i'm not doing…

propagated from my large snake plant, but i feel like i'm not doing it correctly. i cut near the lower half with cleaned scissors, tried two shapes i saw online. anyone got any tips? cus i feel like they aren't doing too well.

I’ve had success with both shapes! The cutting from the top of my leaf rooted significantly faster than the others. They’re all rooted now, but some took 3-4 months! I put some leca in the glass with mine so they weren’t sitting in the bottom of the glass. Patience grasshopper 😉

Mine took 2 months to push out roots

Mine just started rooting … It took nearly 3 months refresh water and I maybe put a little lecca

I’ve never had any luck propagating my snake plants. 😔

Yeah Snake plants are naturally very slow growers, guess that also applies to propagation.
