# String help! I have killed this string twice and finally threw it in…

String help! I have killed this string twice and finally threw it in a bag in a window and it looks great. Any ideas on how to put this in soil. I was thinking about trying to rip as much paper towel off and just let the rest decompose in soil. I don’t want to kill this for a third time taking any recommendations!

i was trying to say i have a lot of string of things and if i were you i would try to 1)find the window with full sun to keep the plant 2)remove as much paper towel as possible (it could cause root damage or rot when put into soil) 3)pre moisten and mix up your soil so it’s evenly moist 4) lay the plant down and tuck in any exposed roots 5) make sure the stem is semi buried in the soil so the roots can take and the plant reaching for the sun doesn’t pull it off the top layer

depending on where you live you can cover it, i’m in nj and we don’t get much extreme heat here and it’s pretty humid where i keep my plants, so i chose not to cover mine but it all depends where you are
